Cloud Setup
Set up an organization in ArchPilot Cloud so your team can manage repositories, ownership, findings, policies, and upload connections.
Cloud setup establishes the shared workspace where local validation results become visible, governed, and actionable across the organization.
What setup includes
- Creating or joining an organization
- Finishing onboarding for the shared workspace
- Inviting teammates when needed
- Creating organization-scoped API tokens for governance upload
- Connecting the first repository
How ArchPilot Cloud is organized
Cloud is organization-scoped. Repositories, findings, snapshots, policies, teams, systems, and API tokens live inside an organization workspace.
That keeps governance views shared and consistent instead of tied to a single developer account.
User sign-in and repository upload credentials stay separate. Repository upload uses organization API tokens managed inside the organization.
Repository coverage, API token count, history retention, teams, systems, and governance workflow depth vary by plan.
A practical first setup path
- Create or join the organization that will own the governance workspace.
- Complete onboarding for the organization.
- Create an API token for governance upload from Settings, Tokens.
- Copy the token immediately while the full value is shown.
- Connect one repository first, then expand to broader repository coverage as teams adopt shared governance.
Where to go next
- Use Connect a Repository for the exact local validation and governance upload sequence.
- Use API Tokens & Upload Connection when you need token-handling guidance, saved config guidance, or ArchPilot Cloud URL guidance.
- Use Upload Troubleshooting if a repository does not appear in Cloud after an upload.
